Legal information — Entryvelocity
This page sets out the legal terms, New Zealand consumer information, privacy pointers and dispute resolution options applicable to our vehicle diagnostics services across New Zealand.
Scope & definitions
Entryvelocity provides automotive diagnostics services including OBD-II scanning, engine health reporting and fault code interpretation across New Zealand. In these legal notes:
- "Service" means any diagnostic scan, report, inspection or consultation provided by Entryvelocity.
- "Client" means the person or business that engages Entryvelocity.
- "ABN" is the New Zealand Business Number for identification and tax purposes.
New Zealand consumer guarantees
Entryvelocity acknowledges your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Law (ACL). Our services are provided with due care and skill and are reasonably fit for the purpose of vehicle diagnostics. Where the ACL applies, consumer guarantees cannot be excluded.
If you believe a Service fails the consumer guarantees, contact us using the details below so we can assess and, where applicable, remedy the issue (re-scan, correction or refund depending on circumstances and ACL entitlements).

Data, privacy & retention
We collect and store minimal personal data required to deliver Services and invoices. Personal data may include name, contact details, vehicle registration and diagnostic logs.
- Retention: diagnostic logs and reports — up to 7 years for business records, unless a shorter period is requested and lawful.
- Use: to provide services, improve products, and for lawful compliance.
- Access & correction: contact us to request access or correction of your personal data.

Limitations of liability
Except as expressly required by the ACL or other applicable law, Entryvelocity limits liability to the extent permitted by law. We do not accept liability for consequential loss where permitted to limit it. Nothing on this page excludes liability which cannot be excluded under New Zealand law.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our liability is limited to the supply of the Service again or payment of the cost of having the Service supplied again, at our discretion.
Intellectual property
All content, branding, diagnostic templates and reports produced by Entryvelocity are our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed. You may use reports for personal or business vehicle management but must not copy or redistribute our proprietary materials without permission.

Complaints & dispute resolution
If you have a complaint about a Service, contact us at entryvelocity@outlook.com or call +64211234567. We will acknowledge and investigate within 5 business days.
If a dispute cannot be resolved internally, customers in New Zealand may seek assistance from external dispute resolution bodies such as the New Zealand Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) or state fair trading agencies.

Governing law
These legal terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of New Zealand and the State of New South Wales where applicable. Any claim must be brought in New Zealand courts unless otherwise required by law.
For commercial engagements, parties may agree in writing to alternative dispute resolution methods, but statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
